Sara Decker is a costume designer based in NYC. 

 

Her love for her craft began by sewing and designing at a young age, and by high school she was designing costumes for school productions.

 

Now she’s a versatile designer working on Broadway. Sara finds inspiration all around her for characters, from haute couture that walks the runway to everyday people on the subway. 

 

As an associate costume designer she is a known collaborator with a gift for research. Sara has worked on all kinds of shows, Broadway and Off-Broadway.  Her most recent work can be seen at Life & Trust, a new immersive show by the same team who produced Sleep No More.

 

You can currently find her spending as the women's ensemble dresser at The Great Gatsby on Broadway.
